![]() The other advantage to using LOTR is that they already are on round bases which is perfect for the Age of Sigmar rules. For me, I always preferred the Aesthetic of the LOTR lines over GW's fantasy range - although perhaps I've been tempted by two of the most LOTR aesthetic types - High Elves and Vampire Counts. However a few games of Age of Sigmar at my local GW shop have enthused me to the possibilities of resurrecting my LOTR collection (and maybe tempt me to get some Hobbit figures also). ![]() Although I have played a few games of LOTR with my children. But as opponents dwindled and the Hobbit system somewhat fizzled, they've been sat largely unused for a while now. I thought they were beautifully done, easy to put together and tied in with the films (if not always the books) perfectly. I was always a fan of the Lords of the Rings (OTR) figures produced by Games Workshop.
